1972 Wesfalia camper. Weekender/ Tin top version. 56,000 miles believed to be original. Type IV 1700 cc motor with original dual carbs.
Motor was refreshed with new rings, rebuilt heads, new heater boxes and muffler. Less than 5,000 miles since refresh. Engine starts easy and runs great.
Body was dry blasted 15 years ago with rust cut out and new panels welded. Then epoxy primed and urethane paint in original color.
Recent rust repair of inner and outer rocker panels and other small areas.
No major rust, this is a solid drivable bus. Faded paint and touch up areas make this a 7 of 10 on paint. Repaint would really make this bus shine.
Interior is excellent with original mustard vinyl in clean good condition.
Ice box and sink in good condition. Missing water fill tube and I never tried faucet. New upholstery on front seats.
Tires are proper reinforced sidewalls with lots of tread left.
This is a nice driver of a bus, not a show queen.
Selling because I don’t get to use it much (less than 5k miles in 15 years) and I need to down size on projects. Price is negotiable for the right home. Thanks for looking.
