1968 VW Tin Top Camper bus for sale. I have owned this bus for 7 years and have the clear title. It had a recently rebuilt motor when I got it and I have put on maybe 10k miles. I can’t say for sure because I have replaced the speedo cable twice and it is currently broken. I just had the valves, timing and carb adjusted at Kirkwood VW. It runs very well. There is front end damage from a rear ender due to a broken master cylinder reservoir that I replaced (it was very hard to find). It has the folding rear seat/bed, closet with mirror, OEM padded stool and walk through to the front bucket seats. It is missing the fridge/sink combo that was not there when I got it.
It is rusty around the windshield that leaks onto the floorboard when it rains leading to the rusty floorboards. The rest of the bus is not very rusty but it does need paint and body repair. I did not plan on selling this bus but I recently bought an RV and need to let it go. The low value on these classic buses is $9,600 (NADA) in “as is” condition. I realize this bus needs cosmetic work but it is a classic with a lot of potential value. There is a gas powered heater in the engine bay that is pretty rare but does not work, that I know of. If you want more info or pictures, contact me via email phone or text. Remember it is smog exempt and in decent shape for its age.

***Update*** Freshly installed 4 new tires with 4 wheel alignment. I had no idea what a difference this could make. The tires are Hankook radial RA08’s.
